What's In A Name?

Is your first, middle or last name Peabody ?

If it is, and you can prove it with a government-issued ID, then you qualify for The Peabody Memphis' 140th Anniversary promotional rate honoring the hotel's namesake George Peabody. The “What's In A Name?” rate is $140 per night and includes a deluxe guest room and valet parking.

(The original Peabody Hotel was built by Colonel Robert C. Brinkley in 1869. Just prior to its opening, Brinkley received news of the death of his good friend, philanthropist George Peabody and at the last minute decided to change his hotel's name from The Brinkley House to The Peabody Hotel. The Peabody name is very prominent in the Northeast where George Peabody endowed numerous museums and public libraries and has a city in Massachusetts named for him.)

*All packages and rates based on availability. All rates exclude taxes, hotel amenity fee, and gratuities.

* All packages and rates available through December 29, 2009, except Valentine's Day Package and Warm Up To Cool Package which are available as noted.
